Hyacinth troubles.

Well, obviously I didn't foresee this happening. It appears that my hyacinths aren't getting enough sun and are growing pretty dwarf-like. It's probably because we haven't a had a sunny day since early October, and it doesn't have enough energy to grow bigger. At least it smells heavenly and it doesn't look too bad.

I wonder what the reason is for the "dwarfing." I think it if was because of low light it would still grow normally but the foliage would be lanky and a pale green color. You should see about trying to keep that bulb alive and plant it outdoors and see if it keeps the dwarfism for the next year.
